Monday, October 21, 2013 - The Refton Volunteers send out their heartfelt sympathies and condolences to the Hoffer Family and Friends and the Brothers and Sisters of the Quarryville Fire Company on the sudden death of Firefighter/Chauffeur Douglas Hoffer, Jr. Doug, his girlfriend and three others were killed on Saturday as a result of a horrific motorcycle accident in Washington Township, Franklin County.
Doug was well known in the southern end (especially in the fire service). He always had a positive attitude and will be severely missed by all.
