Sunday, November 18, 2012 - Yesterday at 10:01 hours the Refton Volunteers were alerted along with other surrounding agencies to assist Company 58 (Rawlinsville) on a reported Silo Fire at 13 Clearfield Road in Providence Twp. First arriving units reported smoke showing from the silo. Tanker 59 made the response under a minute after dispatch and assisted with water supply operations on scene. Engine 59-2 was dispatched later on in the incident for additional manpower and to set up a fill site (if needed). Units operated on scene for multiple hours and cleared the incident at 14:28 hours.
