Saturday, January 14, 2012 - At 14:21 Hours, the Refton Volunteers were alerted to a reported trash fire at 1858 Beaver Valley Pike in Providence Twp. Engine 5-9-2, Tanker 5-9, Engine 5-9-5 and Squad 5-9 all made the response and were advised by LCWC of a Large Trash Fire at that location and was requested by the Pennsylvania State Police to extinguish the fire. Units arrived and found the same. Units extinguished the fire and cleared the incident at 14:47 Hours.
