Overnight Crash in the First Due

Monday, February 6, 2012 - Sunday Morning around 01:30 hours, the Refton Volunteers were alerted to a Vehicle Accident Stand-By in front of 311 Breneman Road in Strasburg Township.  Deputy 5-9 (Asdsitt) went enroute and arrived on scene to find one car vs. a telephone pole with its four way flashers on with all occupants fleeing the scene.  RescueEngine 5-9-1 and Engine 5-9-2 made the response and were advised to secure the vehicle with depowering and fluid control.  While the investigation was going on by PSP, the driver of the car ended up coming back to the scene and was checked out by EMS.  Units remained on scene for about an hour.

Units on Scene:  Deputy 5-9, RescueEngine 5-9-1, Engine 5-9-2, Ambulance 5-9-1 (SEEMS) and PSP
